The Revised Constitution, adopted at the AGM in March, 2010 has now been registered.
The structure and language of the Revised Constitution has been simplified to make it more user-friendly, and anomalies and inconsistencies have been removed. The Constitution sets out the objectives and principles of the Network; the rights and responsibilities of member U3As; the manner of election of the Network Committee of Management; and the responsibilities of the Network Committee.
Note: Para 4.4.4 of the Revised Constitution refers to the Conduct of Postal Ballots, which is now regulated by the Associations Incoproration Regulation 2010,
Schedule 3: this now forms part of the Constitution.
